Email Notifications

ContentCompass sends reminder emails based on your scheduled content deadlines:

Before Your Deadline

• 3 days before: An early reminder giving you time to prepare
• 1 day before: A final reminder to complete your content
• On the deadline day: A notification that today is the scheduled date

After Your Deadline

• 2 days overdue: A gentle reminder if content hasn’t been marked as delivered
• 5 days overdue: A follow-up to help you get back on track
• Weekly reminders: At 12 and 19 days overdue
• Biweekly reminders: For content overdue more than 26 days

If content remains undelivered for extended periods, consider these actions:

• Reschedule: Move the deadline to a more realistic date
• Remove from calendar: If the content is no longer needed
• Archive the idea: If the content concept has become stale or irrelevant
• Mark as delivered: If the work was completed but not updated in ContentCompass

• Enable/Disable: Toggle notifications in your Settings
• Per-schedule control: Some high-priority items may warrant more frequent reminders
• Team notifications: Team members receive notifications for shared content

1. Review weekly: Check your overdue items regularly to keep your calendar realistic
2. Update promptly: Mark items as delivered when complete to stop reminder emails
3. Be realistic: Adjust deadlines proactively rather than letting items accumulate
4. Use the calendar view: Red “Late” badges help you spot overdue items at a glance

Notification emails include:

• The content title and status
• Days until deadline (or days overdue)
• Direct link to the content in ContentCompass
• Quick action buttons to mark as delivered or reschedule

Note: Email notifications respect your timezone preferences and are sent during reasonable hours to avoid disrupting your workflow.
